Required for 1990–1993 1.6L (B6) Miatas running a FlowForce R8 or LS ignition coil kit. The 90-93 ignition connector pinout doesn't match the coil kit harness, so without this patch the coils won't get a clean trigger signal and the car won't fire.

Not needed on 1994–1997 or 1999–2005 1.8L (BP) cars. Those are a direct fit
Works with both wasted spark and sequential setups
Running a 1.6 to 1.8 swap? Once the 1.8 ignition section is wired in, this harness is no longer required
